BellKathryn Bell McKenzie, Ph. D. is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Administration and Human Resources at Texas A&M University in College Station. Her research interests include equity issues in schools, school leadership, STEM success in high schools and highly successful school districts.

 


SkrlaLinda Skrla, Ph. D. is Professor of Educational Administration at Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the Texas A&M faculty in 1997, Skrla worked as a middle school and high school teacher and as a campus and district administrator in public schools. Her research focuses on educational equity issues in school leadership, including accountability policy, high success school districts, and women superintendents.


PetersonKent D. Peterson, Ph. D. is Professor of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is an expert on principals and school culture and has dedicated much of his career to researching these two topics. Dr. Peterson helps principals understand their leading role in the culture and reform of their schools. He is the founding Director of the Vanderbilt Principals Institute, an organization devoted to researching the roles of principals and developing training to help principals become more effective.

RiddileMel Riddile, Ph. D. is the Associate Director for High School Services at the National Association of Secondary School Principals. His previous experience includes Principal status at T.C. Williams High School, J.E.B. Stuart High School, as well as having been a School Administrator since 1974. Dr. Riddile’s areas of expertise consist of restructuring and reinventing high schools, adolescent literacy, ninth grade transition, school-based central office experience and consulting.

SeversonJenny Severson, Ph. D. is the Senior Instructor and Consultant at Quantum Learning Network.  Her expertise is in applying theory and research into practical applications, helping participants in her programs discover and plan implementation of solutions for classroom, school and/or organization improvement. Jenny is a former public school teacher and principal from the Chicago area.

 


SprickRandy Sprick, Ph. D. is the director of Teaching Strategies, Inc. and the lead consultant for Safe & Civil Schools.   Much of his work involves helping teachers, principals, and other staff set up schools and classrooms that encourage student responsibility and motivation, while humanely and effectively helping misbehaving students learn to behave in more responsible ways. Randy is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Oregon.

D. is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at the University of Arkansas at Monticello, served as the Director of Middle Level Education, is a graduate of South Carolina State University and has research interests in performance-based learning, socially just dissertations, and paideia teaching and learning. His presentation will focus on strategies that have proven successful with African American students. With a heart for seeing that all kids succeed, Dr. Hines is ready to share what he has learned as a practitioner in the field of leadership.

PancoastMalachi Pancoast is the President and Founder of The Breakthrough Coach and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from West Virginia University.
