Kim Campbell - “We Will Survive!”

We survive as leaders because we know and understand that having a sense of humor, building positive strong relationships, and finding ways to laugh are critical to our survival. Join me as we have fun laughing, playing, and celebrating all the great things about being a leader in uncertain times.

12:00p - Women in Leadership Luncheon (Austin Marriott Downtown – Waterloo Ballroom)

Dr. Sanee Bell - “Be Excellent on Purpose: Intentional Strategies for Impactful Leadership”

Excellence is a journey where leaders discover who they are, what they value, and the principles that drive them. Being a leader committed to excellence means striving to “Be Excellent on Purpose” by doing ordinary things in extraordinary ways. Walk away from this session with leadership strategies and principles that will motivate, inspire, and challenge leaders.

Dr. Todd Whitaker - “Motivating People During Difficult Times”

Having high-energy staff members is critical to the success of every school and district. Everyone who works with students must come to school with positive mindset each day, something that can be challenging during difficult times. This session will focus on no-cost ways for educational leaders to stay positive and motivate themselves and everyone in their organization.

Gerry Brooks - “Personal Climate and Culture….It’s Up to You”

Gerry uses his videos to develop a strategy for making the workplace a pleasant place where faculty, administrators, and support staff all maintain mutual respect, regardless of personal differences, resulting in more efficient and fulfilled workers.

Liz Huntley - "How School Leaders Can Build Hope"

Liz Huntley, J.D. is the president and co-founder of the Hope Institute which helps schools build a culture of character. As an author, attorney and education advocate, Liz speaks regularly to international audiences about how her school helped her through her childhood tragedies and gave her Hope for a better future. The keynote will make the case that academic achievement should be supported by character development to give students the strengths needed to navigate life.

Dr. Jon Eckert - “Just Leadership”

Join Baylor University Professor Dr. Jon Eckert during our Summer Workshop closing session. Administrators’ work is increasingly complex. However, when we reduce what we do to its essence, leadership is really about a F.E.W. key ideas: feedback, engagement, and well-being for each person we serve. Our profession is the one that makes all others possible. In this closing session, you will be encouraged and explore practical insights to catalyze growth in life-giving ways.
